Coriander

Coriander, a plant of the parsley family. It grows one to three feet (30 to 90 cm) tall, with feathery leaves. Coriander is native to the Mediterranean region. The seeds contain an aromatic oil and are used to season soups, cake, cookies, and candy.

The coriander is Coriandrum sativum of the family Umbelliferae.
